I don’t work in logistics directly, but I find this topic interesting because forecasting always looks more precise on paper than it feels in real life. Even outside supply chains, any system that tries to predict human behavior tends to run into unexpected variables that are hard to quantify. It’s interesting how much value still comes from experienced people interpreting the data rather than blindly trusting models. In a way, it feels like these systems work best when they act as guidance tools instead of final decision-makers, especially in fast-changing environments where conditions rarely stay stable for long.
